IPID tonight, 14 April 2026, arrested a Police Colonel linked to the Western Cape Protection and Security Services (PSS) for sexual assault and rape. 

It is alleged that the accused Colonel sexually assaulted and raped his female subordinate within PSS in May 2025. 

The suspect is detained at the Wynberg holding cells and will make his first appearance at Wynberg Magistrate Court tomorrow, 15 April 2026.
