IPID secures a murder conviction in Gauteng
The independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) has secured a murder conviction in the Pretoria Regional court.
A 38 year old Warrant Officer Titso Letlatsa Ntshenyeo based at the Pretoria Task Force has been found guilty of murder in the Pretoria Regional court and on 29 July 2016 and sentenced to Twelve (12) years imprisonment.
This follows a shooting resulting from an argument between the Warrant Officer and 43 year old Captain Muzikayise Xulu. The Captain went to his house in Lotus Gardens Pretoria West to serve the Accused with an eviction order.
The accused rented the Captain’s house and the he wanted him out of his house. The accused discharged eight rounds towards the Captain and he died at the scene.
The Accused has since dismissed from the Police service in May 2015 for this crime.
