Disinfection of IPID Offices

Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) is in the process of putting all the health protocols in place as prescribed in the Government Guidelines. IPID as an employer and government department is putting health preventative measures in place to protect both its employees and public members that will be returning to the offices and visiting our offices for services respectively during the level 4 lockdown period.
In preparing the returning to work by our employees IPID has embarked on the processes of ensuring that all IPID offices are fully and deeply disinfected and sanitized by reputable service provider. As public is well aware that our services were never shut down since the inception of the lockdown but we were only affected by having some few support personnel that were supporting our investigators who were always on duty all the time. Now that we are preparing the return of our full staff complement to our offices we have to ensure that we prioritize the safety of our employees and that of our clients by letting all our offices be disinfected and sanitized. Over and above that our employees shall be protected as the employer will have to comply with the health protocols as prescribed. Public is therefore made aware that our offices will be closed for disinfection and sanitizing. This is done to ensure that IPID employees and public members are protected against the COVID-19 virus. Please be advised that IPID offices will be serviced by the service providers indicated below:
